Totally Awesome Ninja Abraham Lincoln: Unforgotten Realms
After watching a Zero Punctuation video about webcomics, a trailer was played afterward showcasing a animated comic focusing around a Dungeons and Dragons style roleplaying game between two friends, one of which tried to choose a lumberjack as a class, rolls with duel numb chucks, and has a beard; the other is a wizard without a monocle. This is the story of Sir Schmoopy and Eluamos Nailo.
Unforgotten Realms, presented by Escapist Magazine There are currently four episodes, each about 10 minutes to 15 minutes (with adds for other videos) and every moment is so funny; it’s like Aqua Teen Hunger Force all over again. Nothing that happens or is said is without a little humor, anger, off the wall, or just plain insanity. I was literally laughing out loud at what I was watching; particularly episode two is awesome.
Season 1 Trailer
Unforgotten Realms originally aired as a 10 episode series on Newgrounds.
“if [the Newgrounds user in charge of the project] wasn’t a jerk we probably would have never had Unforgotten Realms.”. Rob then created a full episode of Unforgotten Realms “out of spite“. The first episode was posted July 21st, 2006 on Newgrounds.
How awesome. Spite truly is a awesome motivator to do great things.
I think that this has to be the most awesome thing on the Internet yet, it’s animated, voiced and just so funny. I can’t wait for future episodes.
