Geometry Wars 2 – a Cheap Reason to Break Out the 360
So E3 2008 has come and gone and I really could care less what with not really having time to worry about games that aren’t coming out yet, especially when I have rather large backlog of games that I still need to get to. However it seems that Bizarre Creations finally got around to making the sequel to the best game on Xbox 360, ever; Geometry Wars 2, and it will be released August 6.
Finally I have a reason to use my 360 for the time until I can get some time to play some non-shooter-arcade-game-that-is-the-equivalent-of-crack. Here’s a video from Joystiq showing off the awesomeness of the new game.
The new game offers multiplayer, new modes, new enemies and the same great simple game play that made the original awesome. In a time when games cost 60$ it is great to know that a (hopefully) 5$ game can surpass them in enjoyment, fun, replay and addiction.
