Firefox 3.1 Shiretoko

Working on something new and I wanted to use the CSS property box-shadow to add some simpler non-image dropshadows. You can view more at CSS3 dot Info. And while I do have Safari installed, it isn’t my primary browser and so knowing that there was a 3.1 release of Firefox gearing up I managed to find out that it was available to download, named Shiretoko it offers some near features.

Among the box-shadow property, Firefox 3.1 also includes support for the following properties:

Unfortunately I have also lost the use of 11 of 13 of my plugins, which really sucks, but as soon as 3.1 gets released I have to think that the makers will release updated versions so it isn’t that big of a deal.

So piss off Microsoft and your Internet Explorer which won’t receive any updates other than security patches after you release it and will be broken upon release. It’s one thing if your browser is broken and sucks but it’s another thing when the majority of people us it.
