Experts Exchange – Just Scroll!
While reading a story of a story on Neowin.net about how password protected sites, like forums and others that ask you log in are not really secured from people because if the results showed up on a Google search then the Google spider could get to it and so can you!
But what was a really revealing fact came from the comments people were leaving. Ever do a search on a computer / programming / language problem and get those results from Experts Exchange, the site you join in order to ask questions and read answers? Needing points to ask questions and read comments. Never helpful because all the replies are swapped out for text asking you try a trial. Well as it turns out you can see the answers, unmasked, if you came from a Google search, and all you have to do is scroll. Scroll all the way down, past the non-answer comments, past the adds, and there will be the answers.
That’s cool. So finally Experts Exchange has a use, and I was almost thinking it might be worth joining.
