Totally Awesome Ninja Abraham Lincoln: Unforgotten Realms

After watching a Zero Punctuation video about webcomics, a trailer was played afterward showcasing a animated comic focusing around a Dungeons and Dragons style roleplaying game between two friends, one of which tried to choose a lumberjack as a class, rolls with duel numb chucks, and has a beard; the other is a wizard without a monocle. This is the story of Sir Schmoopy and Eluamos Nailo.

Podcast No. 1 - the Test

So with no notes, or any real planning I decided to just make a podcast. Well more of a test of making a podcast; recording, editing, uploading, etc. It’s nothing to be proud of; I’m not adding album art or uploading it someplace special to get out there, like iTunes or anything. This was only a test that I felt I could pull off before Sunday. I know I say to watch the last episode with less than an hour, but come on, it’s only a test!

Music in John McCain’s TV Spot Sounded so Good, ’tis from a video game is why

John McCain’s new anti war campaign ad, Safe featured a very simple message that was only reinforced by the black background and still images and the song playing that sounded the part of the I know the horrors of war and would never take America into a war that it didn’t have to fight.

However where did this moving piece of music come from? Some artist tiring away on merger earnings to put his ideas to notes? A movie? A campaign staffer who knows how to compose? Nope, none of the above; how about a video game called Medal of Honor: European Assault. Thus showing that the music in video games can be just as powerful and moving as any other.
