Firefox 3.1 Shiretoko
July 30th, 2008 by YillbWorking on something new and I wanted to use the CSS property box-shadow to add some simpler non-image dropshadows. You can view more at CSS3 dot Info. And while I do have Safari installed, it isn’t my primary browser and so knowing that there was a 3.1 release of Firefox gearing up I managed to find out that it was available to download, named Shiretoko it offers some near features.
Offsite links, the Browser and the User
July 6th, 2008 by YillbSo in going over a new site, my style of not opening links to external sites in a new window came under criticism due in part because of my shared belief of letting the user make up their own mind with dealing with links, was called out when the user doesn’t know how to use their browser. I have to believe that once they learn how to use their browser, and it gets beaten into their minds that every link will open in the same window, that they’ll be able to make the choice as to how to open the link.

June 16th, 2008 by YillbI guess beginning tonight, when ever the clock turns over to June 17, 2008, downloads for Firefox 3 will begin, and so will the attempt to earn the Guinness World Record for the most downloaded piece of software in 24 hours.
Firefox 3 is great, been using the beta for sometime now. Read about the features and improvements. I like the fact that Firefox 3 is the only browser that can render my crazy em-based layout correctly. (It’ll be done soon, I just need a web host using Microsoft Server).
Get the info at Spread Firefox and get ready to help set a world record tomorrow.
Come on. Why are you still using Internet Explorer? At least give it a try.
